You have to do graduation (3 years) in any subject of your interest and then do Post Graduation (2 years) in it and qualify UGC lectureship. Or you can join for integrated courses (5 years) which include graduation and post graduation. If you do Ph.D. after Post graduation, then you don't have to qualify NET exam. Some colleges allow you to work as guest lecture even if you have not qualified UGC. It will only be a temporary post. While choosing institutions, choose wisely. Yes, you are eligible for D.Ed. As the eligibility criteria for this course is:
Candidates who are willing to take admission in D.Ed. Must have passed 10+2 Intermediate Examination from a recognised board with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST). So if you have completed your 12th you can take admission.
