Yes, you can apply for UGC NET exam if you have master's degree in literature and have secured 55% aggregate marks in it. The best subjects fit for you to apply in UGC NET exam will be Tribal & Regional Language/Literature, Folk Literature and Comparative Literature. Thanks and Good Luck.

To become a government teacher, you need to have B.Ed degree and HTET or CTET examination passing.
