If the students do have not valid scores in CAT, so they have to secure good scores in MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ ATMA/ GMAT/ WBJEE/ NMAT/ KMAT/ JEMAT/ TISSNET. Hence, candidates can submit any of the entrance examination scorecards to be eligible for admission.

The eligibility criteria to get admission to BTech courses at Techno India University, candidates are required to qualify for their Class 12 in Science stream with at least an aggregate of 45%. For admission candidates must qualify for either the state or national entrance exam, such as WBJEE, JEE Main, and TNJEE. Admission is based on entrance exam scores and academic performance. Reserved categories may have some benefits in the minimum percentage required.

Candidates are allowed to get admission to the BTech course at Tecno India University without JEE Mains. If the students do not have valid scores in JEE Mains, then they have to secure good scores in the TNJEE entrance examination. JEE (main) ranks have a limited number of seats available (10% of total seats). However, to get admission with JEE main rank, candidates must attend WBJEE counselling. Candiates can also apply for counselling in many other states, such as Gujarat, MP, Uttarakhand, and Maharashtra all use the JEE (mains) score to determine admission.
