Candidates are allowed to get admission to the BTech course at Tecno India University without JEE Mains. If the students do not have valid scores in JEE Mains, then they have to secure good scores in the TNJEE entrance examination. JEE (main) ranks have a limited number of seats available (10% of total seats). However, to get admission with JEE main rank, candidates must attend WBJEE counselling. Candiates can also apply for counselling in many other states, such as Gujarat, MP, Uttarakhand, and Maharashtra all use the JEE (mains) score to determine admission.

According to the official information available, the placement season at the University begins in September and continues till July next year. The placement procedure at Techno India University is explained in the following steps:
