Domicile is necessary for the NEET state counselling in 2024. Candidates must meet the state's specific NEET domicile requirements to qualify for state quota seats and private institutions which means the candidate must be a permanent resident of the particular state. Registration for NEET PG 2024 counselling began on September 20, 2024. Candidates will have to register and declare choice for college and course for counselling. Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) will conduct the Telangana NEET PG counselling 2024. All the eligible non-service/service candidates whose names are displayed in the Merit list on the KNRUHS website will be able to participate in the Telangana NEET PG counselling. The counselling will be conducted in online mode at the official website, knruhs.telangana.gov.in. KNRUHS Telangana NEET PG cut off 2023 has been concluded with the release of Round 4 Seat Allotment results. Based on Telangana NEET PG scores, followed by the Telangana NEET PG Counselling. Various MDS specialisations are offered at KNRUHS through Government Dental College and Hospital, Hyderabad closed at R4 in 2022. KNRUHS accepts Telangana NEET PG scores for admission to the MD, MS and MDS courses. The closing rank for top specialisation which is MDS in Oral Pathology and Microbiology stood at 856 for the General category All India candidates.

Telangana NEET PG Counselling is conducted for admission to MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses. There are overall 1676 MD seats, 849 MS seats, and 23 PG Diploma seats in the state of Telangana for admission via NEET PG.

The Telangana NEET PG 2023 cutoff was released by the counselling conducting body. Candidates can take a look at the table provided below:

However, the ranks for all Telangana medical colleges has not been released yet officially. Only the seat vacancy status has been released for the purpose of counselling.

Candidates need to visit the official website of KNRUHS – knruhs.telangana.gov.in. Click on the 'Telangana NEET PG 2025 Merit List' link under the 'the latest Notification' tab provided on the homepage. Look out for the name or NEET 2025 Roll Number to check if your name is included in the Telangana NEET PG 2025 Merit List.

Telangana NEET PG 2025 counselling for the academic year 2025-26 will be conducted from September 2025 (tentatively) onwards as per the past trend. The counselling process will be held in online mode through the official portal at knruhs.telangana.gov.in. Candidates whose names appear in the Telangana NEET PG 2025 Merit List will be able to exercise choice filling and choice locking options. However, before this step, the state will release the Telangana NEET PG 2025 final merit list.

In order to participate in Telangana NEET PG counselling, candidates need to keep ready documents such as: NEET PG result, Provisional/Permanent MBBS Degree Certificate, MBBS Study Certificate, Internship Completion Certificate, Aadhar Card/valid photo ID proof, Recent passport-sized photograph, Candidate’s signature. All the document should be in PDF format and the size should be Up to 500 kb (maximum). For the photograph and signatures, the size should be up to 100 kb.
