Telangana NEET

Both Indian citizens and NRIs are eligible for it; it varies for both of them. 

• Indian Citizens: 35% of the seats are open, with 85% reserved for Telangana locals and 15% open to candidates from all over India.

• NRIs: 15% of the seats are specifically reserved for NRI candidates.
  

The exact fees will vary from one college to another. 

The approximate fee for government medical colleges under the 85% State Quota is between INR 7,000 to INR 20,000 per annum.

While private medical colleges under the 50% state quota charge approximately INR 60,000 per annum.

There are two types of counselling which are offered for Telangana state:

Competent Quota Counselling – for seats in government and private colleges reserved for local candidates.

Management Quota Counselling – for seats in private colleges, open to both Indian citizens and NRIs.

Telangana NEET counselling 2026 process comprises various steps. It is being conducted by Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Telangana. The steps by steps process is given below:

The NEET counselling process in different states begins in July or August and 85% quota state counselling starts about midway through July. All activities from the first counselling round should finish before late August. Yes, the Telangana NEET counselling is being conducted for two separate courses, BDS and MBBS. Hence, the qualifying marks for both these courses will be different.
