No. Only 15% of management quota seats are open to candidates from all over India. While the remaining 85% of seats are reserved for Telangana local candidates.
Applicants are advised to first check the seat matrix released during Telangana NEET counselling process to get a seat of their choice.

Both Indian citizens and NRIs are eligible for it; it varies for both of them.
Indian Citizens: 35% of the seats are open, with 85% reserved for Telangana locals and 15% open to candidates from all over India.
NRIs: 15% of the seats are specifically reserved for NRI candidates.

The exact fees will vary from one college to another.
The approximate fee for government medical colleges under the 85% State Quota is between INR 7,000 to INR 20,000 per annum.
While private medical colleges under the 50% state quota charge approximately INR 60,000 per annum.

There are two types of counselling which are offered for Telangana state:
Competent Quota Counselling – for seats in government and private colleges reserved for local candidates.
Management Quota Counselling – for seats in private colleges, open to both Indian citizens and NRIs.

There are various government and private colleges that participate in the Telangana NEET counselling process. The name of the some of the government colleges are given below:
- Gandhi Medical College, Musheerabad, Secunderabad
- Kakatiya Medical College, Warangal
- Rajiv Institute of Medical Sciences, Adilabad
- Government Medical College, Nizamabad
- Government Medical College, Mahabubnagar

The NEET counselling process in different states begins in July or August and 85% quota state counselling starts about midway through July. All activities from the first counselling round should finish before late August. The process of counselling requires candidates to register then select their choices before receiving their assigned seats until they report to their allocated college. The official state counselling websites of DMET and CEE along with other authorities issue updates regarding communication timings and admission regulations. Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has released the Telangana NEET UG 2024 counselling round 1 seat allotment results. Candidates who registered for the counselling can now check and download their Telangana NEET 2024 seat allotment on the official website. For the Telangana NEET UG round 1 seat allotment pdf 2024, students have to visit knruhs.telangana.gov.in and search for 'KNRUHS - MBBS Admissions under Competent Authority Quota - 2024-25- College wise Allotment List after the first phase of Counselling' link available on the screen.

Yes, the Telangana NEET counselling is being conducted for two separate courses, BDS and MBBS. Hence, the qualifying marks for both these courses will be different. Applicants who want to appear in the Telangana NEET 2025 counselling are advised to secure the qualifying marks in their respective categories to be eligible for taking admission.
