VVISM Hyderabad admissions to PGDM course is entirely entrance-based. Students are offered admission based on scores of various state/ national-level entrance exams, namely CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, GMAT, CMAT, ICET, etc. Aspirants are required to qualify for any one of the repsective entrance exams with a valid score. Further, they also need to appear for GD & PI rounds conducted in online/ offline modes.

Applicants cannot get direct admission to FPM at IMT. Applicants wishing to apply for FPM at IMT Hyderabad must possess one of the following degrees with a minimum requirement of 60%:
1.comprehensive master's programme lasting five years in any field
2.a graduate degree
