Whether the general test is compulsory for BA Political Science depends on the specific university or college you're applying to. You can go and check out the official website of the university or college you're interested in. Look for the admissions section and specifically for information about BA Political Science programme requirements.
For instance, for Delhi University, the general test is not mandatory for BA Political Science (Hons.) at some colleges.

As the typing test is a skill-based assessment and qualifies candidates, it will not be included in the final merit list for the RRB NTPC exam. There is an English and Hindi version of the test.
