In order to apply to Texas Tech University, all applicants must have at least a 3.57 GPA (4 point scale) for the last 90 credits of coursework along with the average scores in high school class for admission. A need a mix of A and B, and very few C grades are acceptable. If a student has a lower GPA, they can compensate with harder courses like Andhra Pradesh or IB classes.

Admission requirements for International Undergraduate First-Time Students at Texas Tech University:

  • As a high school transcript, all official documentation showing GPA and class rank should be submitted by the institution's counsellor directly to the Texas Tech Counsellor portal. Applicants who do not have a transcript without a grade will have to assign a grade according to the Texas Senate Bill 1543.

Hi Sindhuja,
This is not explicitly mentioned on their website however they did mention the fact that ' The average GRE score of graduate students in engineering programs is around 1100 on the math and verbal sections, when combined'. Secondly, you must submit a TOEFL score and not IELTS.
