You must take the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in order to be admitted to Tezpur University for a B.Sc programme CUET results are used by Tezpur University to admit students to its undergraduate programs such as the B.Sc.
How to Apply:
Eligibility: Verify that you fulfil the minimal requirements for eligibility which usually include a 10+2 degree with a qualifying percentage and an appropriate subject combination (for example, physics, chemistry and mathematics/biology for Science courses).

You can join Tezpur University's integrated courses by JEE mains and CUET-like entrance exams. The cutoff through jee mains for a sc/st category is 51-52. For an OBC-NCL student, it is 73-74. For a gen EWS student, it is 75-76. The common list is like 90-91 like that. These are not the exactly same as I above mentioned they may have some differences in cutoffs. Same as for cuet entry also.

Assam University offers 5,580 BSc seats in total, while Tezpur University offers total number of 139 seats. As a result, Silchar University provides the most seats for the BSc course. Both universities accept CUET-UG scores for admission to the programme, and candidates must have completed their Class 12 in relevant stream with decent scores to be eligible for admission.

However, there is no difference between the fee structures of both SMVDU and Tezpur University, except for B.Tech and MBA courses, where SMVDU fees tend to be costlier than Tezpur University. Annual fees for the B.Tech course in SMVDU are found in the range of ?1.6 Lacs to ?2 lakhs, with some ?2 Lacs for MBA. In comparison, Tezpur University charges a much nominal amount of approximately ?1 Lacs annually for the B.Tech program, but this figure may increase owing to other miscellaneous fees, for instance, hostel and mess.

Dissimilar placement opportunities exist in Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) and Tezpur University, although both institutions have prestigious companies knocking at their doors. However, they continue to have different placement success in their different departments.
Then, indeed, there is Tezpur University, which records quite a low median salary for undergraduate courses, around ?5.5 LPA. It has been famous for recruiting companies like Amazon, BSNL, Oracle, and TCS. But placements, especially for some courses such as M.Tech, leave something to be desired.

The placement opportunities available at Tezpur University and Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) are very much different in terms of results. At Tezpur University, almost 60-70% of students get jobs secured with a median salary of around 5.5 LPA for undergraduates and 4 LPA for post-graduate students.
Companies like Amazon, TCS, and Oracle are frequent visitors in the process of placement. On the contrary, unlike Tezpur, who's placement opportunities are not also made available so much at ASTU: it is said to hold a relatively lower placement rate as well as package in comparison.

Yes, Tezpur University offers BTech courses across six specialisations. Tezpur University accepts admission in BTech courses through JEE-Main. Out of the total seats, 60% are reserved for permanent residents of North East and have Permanent Residence Certificates (PRC). The applicants desiring a seat under the North East quota must upload a PRC (Permanent Residence Certificate issued by the competent authority of any of the North Eastern states) along with the form. Admission to the remaining 40% of open seats shall be made through the central counselling, i.e. Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) based on JEE (Main).
