Thakur Institute of Management Studies and Research (TIMSR) MBA minimum clearance varies depending on the entrance exam. For example, the required MAT percentiles  are 90th for Marketing, 85th for Finance, 80th for Operations, 75th for Systems, and 70th for General Management [1]. Additionally, in 2023, the MAH MBA CET cutoff in the All India category was 98 percentile and  MMS programs had a strength of 97.38 percentile [2]. Therefore,  TIMSR acceptance cut-offs may vary depending on the specific programme and  year of acceptance.

The MBA selection process  at Thakur Institute of Management Studies and Research (TIMSR) is based on merit and entrance exams. The eligibility criteria for admission to the TIMSR MBA programme  is a minimum of 50% aggregate marks for graduation from a recognised university. The selection process includes  Written Aptitude Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). The weight given to each part of the selection process may vary from year to year. The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra uploads round wise and category wise MAH MBA CET cut offs on its official website during the CAP process. The MAH CET MBA cut offs are released during the CAP which is likely to be held in July 2026.
