LNM Institute of Information Technology founded as a public-private partnership joint venture between the Government of Rajasthan and Lakshmi and Usha Mittal Foundation. LNMIIT Jaipur was granted Deemed-to-be-University status by UGC in 2006 as a De-Novo institution and operates as an autonomous non-profit organisation. It is recognised by AICTE and UGC. According to the India Today ranking 2024, the institute is ranked among the 50 Engineering colleges. NAAC has accredited the institute with a grade 'A'.
