The level of difficulty of LNMIIT Jaipur entrance exams varies with the programme. For BTech, admission is based on JEE Main which is moderately tough. Entrance tests for MSc and M.Tech are course-specific but are manageable if prepared. The tests evaluate conceptual thinking as opposed to memory.

The rank required in JEE Main for LNMIIT Jaipur changes every year according to cut-offs. Students with good ranks are more likely to get admission in desired branches. Trends in cut-offs are seat-dependent and performance-based. Referring to previous year cut-offs assists in approximating chances of admission.
