As per national public university rankings rolled out by a popular university ranking publication, the University of North Carolina Wilmington ranks #103 in the US.
Among all universities that form part of the University of North Carolina education system, only UNC Chapel Hill & NC State University ranked above UNCW.

UNC-Chapel Hill has a 19% acceptance rate, making it quite difficult to get into.
