As per a former student's opinion, the University of Tampa is a very interesting place to hang out in. Thereare various places to search for such as, Seminole Heights area has some pretty cool bars, local restaurants, and coffee shops. There are several great vegetarian/vegan eateries in that neighborhood too, and its close to UT —easy biking distance. You can also check out Meetup.com— Tampa has lots of great meetups, and more variety of meetups than even many bigger cities, like Seattle and D.C. I was part of an ASL meetup, a Young & Diverse Conversation meetup, and went to many great open-mic’s at coffee shops near

Yes, the University of Tampa have on-campus accommodation for international students. Tampa University offers no-campus accommodation and housing to new incoming undergraduate and graduate students. However, the University of Tampa does not guarantee accommodation on-campus. The University of Tampa helps international students to find off-campus accommodation. On-campus accommodations are given on-space available basis.

The University of Tampa is a medium-sized private university. Formerly the University of Tampa was known as Tampa Junior College. It was established almost 92 years ago in 1931. It was established to serve as one of the first institutions of higher education in the Tampa Bay area. Earlier college offered a limited number of degree programs, however, now the University of Tampa offers more than 200+ programs at the postgraduate and undergraduate levels.
