Depending on the programme and degree of competition, The University of Texas at Austin has different GPA requirements for admission. The University of Texas at Austin expects students to score a minimum cumulative score of 3 or above on a 4-point scale. Along with the GPA score, students must fulfill the basic eligibility requirements set by the university. The University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin) admission timeline is typically as mentioned below:

  • For Summer/ fall enrollment the admission notification is released by mid or late June.
  • For spring enrollment the decisions are relesed by mid December.
  • For Executive education decisions, applications submitted by September 20th will receive a decision by September 30th. For applications submitted by November 1st, decisions will be made by December 1st. If you submit your application by April 15th, you will hear back by April 30th. Lastly, for applications submitted by June 1st, decisions will be announced by July 1st.

Candidates must note that as the University of Texas at Austin application fee is non-refundable, applicants do not receive any refund even if they withdraw the application.
