Austin is considered one of the top cities to live in as part of the United States for a number of reasons.
The city is home to some of the best higher educational institutes, with the University of Texas at Austin, being a prominent name.
Further, the place is home to a number of popular technology giants such as Tesla, Apple & Dell Technologies.
The place is famous for its culture, food, festivals, & most importantly, music, with 400+ live music venues scattered across the city, that is also known as the music capital of the world.

Austin is known to have 300+ sunny days a year, with fairly hot conditions during the summer, however, the conditions for the most part of the academic year, are pleasant, offering the perfect environment to go out & have fun.
Austin houses over 200+ miles of trails for cycling & jogging with the Lady Bird Lake & Hike-and-Bike trail some popular hangout destinations among students.

According to the rankings given by QS World and News, the rank of the University of Texas at Austin is fluctuating as is was 72 in the year 2023, then it improved by 4 spots, and then it fell again. On the other hand, the rankings of the University of California – San Diego Campus is improving each year.
