UT Austin aspirants will be required to submit proof of completion of an accredited secondary school series equivalent to a high school of the US. Your marksheet should include the following-
- All secondary school work and grades up from 9th grade till the end of 11th grade
- Copies of official final examinations taken at the end of secondary school program

For freshmen admissions, UT Austin applicants are required to submit short answers to prompts in their admission application of not more than 40 lines or 250-300 words. The required prompts include:

For Fall 2025, the University of Texas at Austin acceptance rate is around 24.3%. This university received 90,000+ applications. Since the university is very selective, the students should have a good academic record. For admission to UG courses, Indian applicants should have completed high school education. Whereas, for admission to PG courses of UT Austin, the applicants should have completed a Bachelor's degree.
