No, you cannot get direct admission to Kingston Engineering College's B.E./B.Tech course without TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions). Admission to the B.E./B.Tech programme at Kingston Engineering College is primarily based on TNEA counselling and a valid score in the 10+2 examination. You meet the eligibility criteria for TNEA counseling.

Yes, there are B.E./B.Tech admissions in Asian College of Engineering and Technology (ACET) that do not require TNEA. Whereas TNEA is one of the selection factors, at ACET also, Direct Entry on the basis of academic merit (Class 12 marks) is offered. Admission generally is acceptable on the basis of a minimum of 45 percent over-all in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class 12. The Online admissions can be done by log in through the official site of the college. To get certain information concerning the direct admission process, it is rather advisable to address the admissions office of ACET.

TNEA results usually drop between late June and early July—no fixed date, so keep stalking the official site. R.M.D. follows the same schedule, so don't miss it. Bookmark the TNEA portal and check often—'cause once results are out, it's go-time for counselling and locking your seat
