Yes, you can get admission to BTech at M.A.M. College of Engineering and Technology without appearing in TNEA counseling. To be eligible for admission to the course, the candidate has to score a minimum of 50% aggregate in graduation in a relevant stream from any recognised institute. Although admissions are done based on ranks obtained in the TNEA counseling exam, there are some seats reserved for direct admission under the management quota.

A TNEA score of 165 for B.Tech CSE is a great starting point and opens up many possibilities in Tamil Nadu. While top-tier Anna University-affiliated colleges might be highly competitive, a score like this gives you a strong chance at many other excellent institutions. You can confidently aim for well-regarded private engineering colleges in Chennai, Coimbatore, or other tier-two cities. You should also explore some of the respected government-aided colleges. The counselling process is where you'll make your final choices, but with this score, you have a wide array of options for a quality B.Tech CSE program.
