Yes, the TNPSC Group 2 Main exam was scheduled to be conducted from 9.30 AM at 186 exam centres in 20 districts. The exam was delayed at some exam centres because of the mismatch between the question paper registration number and the sequence of the order mentioned in the attendance sheet. A. The TNPSC Group 4 notification states the minimum pass marks. The candidates need to score Ninety marks (90) out of three hundred marks. The candidates should not consider the pass marks as the cutoff marks. Both are different. The pass marks make a candidate eligible for selection but do not ensure it. On the other hand, TNPSC Group 4 cutoff is the mark where the candidate is selected for the next round. TNPSC Group 4 exam is a competitive exam and no score can be said as safe unless the final result.

The TNPSC Group 4 cutoff is released with the result. The cutoff is decided after the examination. The candidates are arranged in a category-wise merit list based on their marks secured in the written exams. The number of candidates that needs to be selected from each category is known and this number is marked in each list. The marks secured by the last candidates become the cutoff marks for that category.
