The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission released the TNPSC Group 4 notification 2025 on April 25, 2025. The Commission released the notification on its official website only. The last date to apply online for the TNPSC Group 4 exam 2025 is May 24, 2025. The TNPSC Group 4 exam 2025 exam will be conducted on July 13, 2025.

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission will release the TNPSC Group 2 notification 2025 on July 15, 2025. The Commission will release the TNPSC Group 2 application form 2025 link on the official website - tnpsc.gov.in. The candidates will get one month to fill out the online applications.

The TNPSC Group 2 exam 2025 will be conducted on September 28, 2025.

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission does not mention about the negative marking in the TNPSC Group 4 exam but as per the instructions mentioned in the official TNPSC Group 4 question paper, the Commission will deduct 5 marks in case the candidate do not write the Question Paper Booklet Number in the provided OMR sheet.

For marking the incorrect answer by the candidate, no marks will be deducted by the Commission. 

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission is expected to conduct the TNPSC Group 4 Exam based on the exam syllabus mentioned in the official TNPSC Group 4 notification. As per the previous year TNPSC General Studies question paper, we can say tha the General Studies section includes topics such as:

• General Science
• Geography
• History and Culture of India
• Indian Polity
• Indian Economy and Development Administration in Tamil Nadu
• Socio-political movements in Tamil Nadu

The TNPSC Group 4 exam 2026 will be conducted on December 20, 2026 as per the syllabus and exam pattern mentioned in the notification. The TNPSC Group 4 exam paper consist of 200 questions divided into three sections.

• Tamil Eligibility-cum-Scoring Test have 100 questions. 
• General Studies have 75 questions. 
• Aptitude and Mental Ability Test have 25 questions.

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission will release the TNPSC Group 4 Cutoff under the candidate's login. Earlier, the Commission released the TNPSC Group 4 cutoff with the result. Now the Commission releases the result under the candidates's login. Only the candidates who applied and appeared in the exam can access the cutoff.
