The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has released the TNPSC Group 2 exam 2025 notification pdf on its official website - tnpsc.gov.in. on July 15, 2025. The last date to apply online for the August 13, 2025. The Commission will provide the application correction facility from August 18 and 20, 2025.

The Commission will conduct the TNPSC Group 2 Prelims exam 2025 on September 28, 2025.

The Tamilnadu public service commission will soon released the TNPSC group 4 counselling dates on its official website as well as in the regional newspapers. The TNPSC group 4 counselling 2024 will be conducted for each post group separately. The candidate will be required to report at the counselling centre with their counselling letters. The last date to apply online for the TNPSC Group 4 exam 2025 is May 24, 2025. The TNPSC Group 4 2025 application correction window will open on May 29 to 31, 2025.

The Commission is expected to conduct the TNPSC Group 4 exam 2025 on July 13, 2025.

TNPSC Group 2 vacancies include two types of posts: Group 2 (Interview Posts) and Group 2A (non-interview Posts). The only difference is of Interview. The Group 2A candidates do not need to face the interview.

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has announced a total of 2327 vacancies for the TNPSC Group 2 and Group 2A posts in 2024. This includes 507 vacancies for Group 2 (Interview Posts) and 1820 vacancies for Group 2A (Non-Interview Posts).

The Commission conducted the TNPSC Group 2 Prelims exam on September 14, 2024. The Commission is expected to increase the number of vacancies till the declaration of final result.

For the TNPSC Group 2 exam in 2024, the anticipated cutoff scores differ by category. The expected cutoff for male and female General/UR applicants is approximately 160-165 and 155-160, respectively. Cutoffs for other categories, such as BC and MBC, are anticipated to be between 150 and 160.
