A TOEFL score of 85 is below Copenhagen Business School's minimum requirement of 94 overall with at least 20 in each section. CBS also accepts IELTS with a minimum overall score of 7.0 or Cambridge English C1 Advanced/C2 Proficiency with a minimum score of 185. Scores must be valid within two years and sent directly to CBS. Retaking the test or choosing alternative accepted exams is necessary to meet admission criteria.

Yes, a TOEFL score of 85 is more than sufficient for admission to the Australian Institute of Technical Training (AITT), as their minimum requirement is 46. Your score exceeds their threshold and is also acceptable for many Australian universities. Always check the specific requirements for your course.

A TOEFL score of 85 is generally considered acceptable, but not necessarily strong, for many universities, including Globe University. A score of 85 might be sufficient for some programs, but it may not be competitive for top-tier universities or certain programs with high selectivity.

A TOEFL score of 85 is generally acceptable for admission to the Australian Institute of Technical Training (AITT), as it meets the typical English proficiency requirements of similar institutions. However, it's recommended to check AITT's specific score requirements for your program. You can also consider alternative tests like IELTS or PTE.

The minimum TOEFL score is not same for every university or program. It change depending on where you apply. In general, many top US universities ask for a TOEFL score between 80 to 110 for undergraduate and graduate programs.

For example:

  • MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology): 100+ for Bachelor's, 90+ for Master's
  • Harvard University: 80+
  • Stanford University: 101+
  • Caltech (California Institute of Technology): 110+

While TOEFL is an important requirement for studying in the USA, it is not the only criterion. Universities typically consider other factors such as academic performance, letters of recommendation, and application essays. TOEFL scores are just one component of the overall application process.

No, with a TOEFL score of 74, you likely won't meet the minimum requirements for graduate programs at Purdue University, which requires a minimum overall score of 80 on the iBT, with minimum section scores of Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing.

Since it is within the normal range of English proficiency requirements for many undergraduate and Diploma programs, a TOEFL score of 85 is generally regarded as suitable for the majority of programs at the Queens Academic Group of New Zealand. A TOEFL score between 60 and 90 is frequently enough for admission to many New Zealand colleges, while the precise requirements can change based on the course and academic level. Although you should be able to enrol in a variety of courses with a score of 85, it's wise to confirm the English language requirements of the particular program.

A score of 85 on the TOEFL would be considered below average for admission to the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, particularly given that medical schools usually need a high level of English proficiency from their overseas applicants. Strong communication skills are essential for both academic and clinical success in graduate programs like medical degrees, and the majority of U.S. medical schools, including Icahn School of Medicine, typically need a minimum TOEFL score of about 100.

A score of 85 might not be enough for the extremely competitive and demanding medical school at Icahn, even though it might be taken into considera
