TOEFL Scores

A TOEFL score of 85 is below Copenhagen Business School's minimum requirement of 94 overall with at least 20 in each section. CBS also accepts IELTS with a minimum overall score of 7.0 or Cambridge English C1 Advanced/C2 Proficiency with a minimum score of 185. Scores must be valid within two years and sent directly to CBS. Retaking the test or choosing alternative accepted exams is necessary to meet admission criteria.

The minimum TOEFL score is not same for every university or program. It change depending on where you apply. In general, many top US universities ask for a TOEFL score between 80 to 110 for undergraduate and graduate programs.

For example:

• MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology): 100+ for Bachelor's, 90+ for Master's
• Harvard University: 80+
• Stanford University: 101+
• Caltech (California Institute of Technology): 110+

Since it is within the normal range of English proficiency requirements for many undergraduate and Diploma programs, a TOEFL score of 85 is generally regarded as suitable for the majority of programs at the Queens Academic Group of New Zealand. A TOEFL score between 60 and 90 is frequently enough for admission to many New Zealand colleges, while the precise requirements can change based on the course and academic level. Although you should be able to enrol in a variety of courses with a score of 85, it's wise to confirm the English language requirements of the particular program.
