Most of the organizations that come for placements to IRMA are of marketing, agri business, developmental sectors and micro finance profiles. The experience you have may not be directly related to these profiles.

You need to score around 80 percentile in CAT and XAT exam to convert IRMA. For SC, ST and OBC candidates, it is around 45 to 60 percentile.

Greetings Ashish,
A simple suggestion would be, keep it simple.
IRMA's personal interview is almost no different from that of any other interview.
What you will need though, is much more clarity on 'Why IRMA?', this question generally plays quite an important role.
Brush up on your general knowledge, get ready to face questions about your background.
As for the PI, it is going to test your ability to analyze (situational) and also your ability to communicate your thoughts.
Hope this helps.

Hello Sanjay,
You have good academic scores but CAT score is somewhat lower. It's difficult to get into good institute with this score. I would advise you to reappear for CAT and give yourself a better chance.

You have done well in academics till now. But it's CAT, XAT & ISC score which determines your chances.

Hello Syed,
You have very good scores till graduation. But I fear that due to your low CAT score, it will be difficult to even get a call from any good institutes. I suggest you reappear for CAT, with this type of academic scores, you stand a very good chance to get selected for good B Schools (provided good CAT score) and even placements.
