It's very difficult to get into Top NITs like NIT Trichy, Warangal and NIT Bhopal because these NITs generally have high cutoffs and competitive ranks with 95 percentile and rank 75689 it would be difficult if you are from general category but there may be chances if you are from reserved category like SC and ST category. With this percentile and rank you can surely get a low ranked NITs like NIT Patna, NIT Durgapur, NIT Mizoram, NIT Sikkim, NIT Raipur, and NIT Goa.

With a waitlist number of OC 281 at BIM Trichy, your chances of conversion depend on how many candidates ahead of you withdraw or choose other institutes.
