Yes, international students are allowed to do part-time work while studying. Part-time work is a great way to help yourself in paying off your tuition fees. It is not cheap to live in the United States. The cost of living in the United States depends on the tier of the city you live in. Although you are in the United States on a study visa, international students are allowed to work for 20 hours per week on part-time jobs to cover their expenses. All the courses offered at Trine University are taught in the English language. Therefore, Trine University makes it mandatory for international students to prove their proficiency in the English language. International students can prove their proficiency in the English language by demonstrating their IELTS score, TOELF score, or PTE score. For undergraduate courses the minimum requirement for TOELF is 71, for IELTS is 6.0 overall, and for PTE is 50 overall. However, for postgraduate courses the minimum required score for TOEFL is 79, for IELTS 6.5 overall and 6.0 minimum on each section, and for PTE is 58 overall.
