Trinity College Dublin entry requirements for Indian applicants are given below:

Undergraduate Requirements

Grade 12 Examination

• CBSE – All India Senior School Certificate Examination
• Higher Secondary Examination (HSC)
• Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) – Indian School Certificate Examination (ISC) requirements

Minimum Matriculation

• Overall average of 80% - 85% in six subjects of Class 12 or if the applicant did not take 6 subjects in Grade 12, in 5 subjects in Class 12 and one (different) subject in Class 10
• A language other than English and Mathematics should be taken as a subject up to Class 10

Subject Requirements

• A minimum grade of 75% in a subject is required in Class 12, where there is a subject requirement for a specific program

Postgraduate Requirements

Note that the postgraduate work in Trinity College Dublin is academically challenging and has high academic entry requirements. The entry requirements for Trinity College Dublin admissions are given below:

• The applicants are required to hold at least a 2.1 Honors degree from an Irish University or equivalent result from an university in another country
• Display of high level of competence in the English language in one of the Examination systems that is recognised by Trinity College Dublin
