Yes, Trinity College Dublin is the best university in Ireland for higher studies, per the latest Shiksha Rankings. The university has a very strong research program.

Students get access to the European job market, and good chances of getting a post-study work visa in Ireland. The TCD campus offers a supportive environment. Dublin itself has a very active Indian student population.

Yes the TCD acceptance rate stands around 34% meaning out of every 100 candidates who apply for admission, upto 34 will be accepted. This makes it relatively hard to get into Trinity College for local and foreign students alike

It was ranked the 16th most international university worldwide in 2023 due to its high proportion of foreign crowd amongst students and staff as well as for research collaboration and international reputation.
