62% were placed and the highest package was INR 5 LPA and the lowest was INR 2 LPA
Around 15% of students get placed in our course. The average salary package offered is 1.7 LPA to 2.5 LPA.
The highest salary package offered in our course is up to 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered in our course is 7.5 LPA. Around 80% of the students got internships in construction and industrial work. It is one of the great engineering colleges in Tripura with good infrastructure and average faculty.

Yes, Tripura University provides seats for international applicants. Students are required to have 60% marks in aggregate in the qualified examination. They need to secure a valid score in CUET to be selected for admission in any course at Tripura University.

Admission is open for UG courses at Tripura University. 02 August 2023 is the last date to complete the registration process. Tripura University presents some of the following degree courses: BBA, B.Sc, BA, MBA, MCA, M.Com, etc.
The registration portal for courses such as BA, BBA, BTech, BCA, BCom, BSc, and other courses is live for eligible candidates. the Tripura University admission 2023-24 last date is 02 August 2023 for the UG courses.

Presently, 46 colleges are affiliated to Tripura University Suryamaninagar. The campus of the university covers an area of 75 acres. The varsity has 46 departments and 158 faculty members offering 61 programmes.
Tripura University presents some of the following degree courses: BBA, B.Sc, BA, MBA, MCA, M.Com, etc. Students with 10+2 from some known institutes with a minimum of 45% scores can apply for bachelor's degree courses. And for PG Courses, the candidates must have a graduation degree.

- In 1937, Bir Bikramkishore Manikya, the last Maharaja of Tripura, had planned for establishing a college under the “Vidyapattan Scheme”.
- On 7 May, 1937, Maharaja Bir Bikram laid the foundation-stone of the college under the “Vidyapattan Scheme”.
- Maharaja Bir Bikram (MBB) College, the first degree college in the State, started functioning under the University of Calcutta only in 1947
- Ramkrishna Mahavidyalaya at Kailasahar in 1950 at private initiatives and also Belonia College at Belonia in 1964 and Ramthakur College at Agartala in 1967.
