Eligibility criteria for UCEED 2026 are given below.

  • Age limit - Candidate must be born on or after October 1, 2001. In the case of candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories, there is a relaxation of 5 years.

  • Number of attempts - Candidate is allowed to appear in UCEED exam for a maximum of two times and that too in consecutive years.

  • Academic requirements - Candidate must have passed 10+2 exam in 2025 or 2026. Those who appeared for first time in their qualifying examination in 2024 or earlier are NOT eligible.

The UCEED 2024 application form may be filled by candidates seeking admission to the B. Des programme. Also, UCEED 2024 scores is not considered for admission to the M.Des programme. So, the candidates must instead fill out the application form for CEED 2024. Note that both the CEED and UCEED exams are conducted by IIT Bombay.

The application form for UCEED 2024 opened on October 3, 2023. Note that the CEED 2024 application form is also currently open.

There is no option to edit the UCEED application form once it is submitted. IIT Bombay has released the application schedule for UCEED 2024 exam; there is no application edit window.

So, it is recommended that when filling out the application form, you can the necessary precaution.

The UCEED 2024 application form is currently open. With regular fees, the application can be filled from October 3-November 13, 2023. However, with late fees, you can submit applications till November 20, 2023.

The UCEED 2024 exam will be conducted on January 21, 2024.

At the time of filling out the UCEED 2024 application form, the candidate needs to upload the following documents:
Photograph - Upload recent color photograph of size 5-100 kb, and in JPEG format. Signature - It should be in JPEG format and size 2-50 kb
Qualifying examination Certificate (Class 12 mark sheet) in pdf format and size 30-500 kb. Birth proof - Upload SSC Certificate Passport, or Birth Certificate in pdf format and size 30-500 kb. Category Certificate in pdf format and size 30-500 kb.

No, candidates will not be given a refund for UCEED 2024 application fee under any circumstance. UCEED application fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. So, before paying the application fee, the candidate needs to make up their minds whether they want to appear in the UCEED 2024 exam or not. The UCEED 2024 application fee is INR 3800 for open, and INR 1900 for female and reserved category candidates.

If any aspirant does not have birth Certificate then s/he can upload a copy of Class 10 Certificate Aadhar Card or Passport. The candidate can check the list of applicable documents in the information brochure. Alternately, they may visit this article to learn about the eligibility criteria and the list of applicable documents. Note that the documents submitted by the candidate at the time of filling out the form will be verified during counseling. Any candidate who fails in the verification process will be disqualified.

Candidates can report any issue faced while filling the UCEED 2024 application form by clicking the 'Report Problem' tab that is present on the right side of the application window. The tab is highlighted in yellow colour. On clicking the tab, candidates have to elaborate on the problem that they are experiencing and also mention their registration number. It is recommended that the candidate don't wait for the dying hour to fill the form. It is because in the last few hours of the application window, there is a chance the server may crash or there may be a lag due to heavy traffic.

Candidates from any academic stream (Science, Commerce or Humanities) are eligible to apply for UCEED exam. However, for admission to IIT Guwahati it is mandatory for candidates to have passed Class 12 from Science stream with Physics Chemistry and Mathematics subjects. The candidate needs to carefully go through the eligibiity criteria before they apply. It is because the candidate will not be considered for admission to the B. What is the application fee for UCEED 2024 exam?

The application fee to be paid by female candidates (all categories) and SC/ST/PwD candidates is INR 1,900. All other candidates need to pay INR 3,800 as the application fee for UCEED 2024 exam.

Please note that the application fee has been incresed across all categories. 

The fee has to be paid online using credit card/ debit card/ internet banking. Note that the UCEED 2024 application fee is no-refundable. This means, once the fee is paid, it will not be refunded whether you appear in the UCEED 2024 exam or not.
