IIT Bombay will conduct the UCEED 2026 Entrance Exam for B.Des programmes on January 18, 2026. The notification will be out in the first week of October 2025.

To be considered for admission to UCEED 2025 participating institutes, the candidates need to meet the following conditions simultaneously:
- Age limit - The candidate needs to be born on or after October 1, 1999. For candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories, there is a relaxation of five years.
- UCEED 2025 qualification - The candidate must have qualified in the UCEED 2025 entrance exam and must have been allocated a merit rank.
- Qualifying examination - The candidate must have passed all the subjects in the qualifying exam (10+2 or equivalent) in 2023 or should be appearing in the qualifyi

To appear in the UCEED 2024 exam, the candidate needs to meet the following criteria:
Age limit: The candidate must be born on or after October 1, 1999. In the case of candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories, there is a relaxation of 5 years.
Number of attempts - A candidate is allowed to appear in UCEED exam for a maximum of two times and that too in consecutive years.
Academic requirements - The candidate must have passed 10+2 exam in 2023. Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam in the exam year may also apply. Also, note that students from all streams are eligible for UCEED 2024.
