In April 2022, the application period for MCA admission opened. Many colleges, including Nalanda Open University, Mumbai University, Madras University, ICFAI University, and others, are now accepting applications for MCA admission in 2022. Candidates are narrowed down by top colleges based on how well they performed in MCA admission exams like NIMCET IPU CET TANCET etc. However, some of the best MCA colleges shortlist candidates based on merit, particularly graduation achievement and preference for BCA coursework.

Since I study in IIIT Una, I can tell you that NIT-Hamirpur has got a really good campus but you'll get bored if you are from a metropolitan city, si

In all honesty, it depends on the pace of work done at your institute. There is a slight chance majority of your degree won't be completed at your own campus, but highly unlikely that you'll complete 4 years not being at your campus.
Again, it depends more at the pace of work and how fast the government gives out clearances to your institute. I have seen some work finished in a jiffy (I study at a government institute as well) and some which has been going on for years and is yet to finish.
