| BUMS | Candidate shall have passed Class 12 or its equivalent examination from any recognised Board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, and shall have obtained mentioned percentage taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. In respect of persons with disability candidates, the minimum qualifying marks in the said examinations shall be 45% in case of General Category and 40% in the case of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes. For admission to the BUMS course, the candidate shall have passed the 10th or 12th standard with Urdu or Arabic or Persian language as one of the subject, or shall have to study Urdu language along with Arabic and Mantiq wa Falsafa (Logic and Philososphy) as a subject during the First Professional BUMS course. Candidates who have passed Class 12 from Open School or as private candidates shall not be eligible to appear for theNational Eligibility Cum Entrance Test'. However, this has been a subject matter of challenge before the Hon'ble High Court of Delhi, Hon'ble High Court of Allahabad, Lucknow Bench, and Hon'ble High Court of Madhya Pradesh at Jabalpur. Result awaited candidates can also apply. The lower age limit is 17 years on or before 31st Dec of the year of admission. |

Candidates who belong to SC/ ST/ OBC must obtain marks equivalent to at least 40thpercentile to be considered for AIQ and state counselling. Aspirants in the UR category are required to score equivalent to at least 50 percentile

The cut off generally is low, it is 136 to 121 for general category. 120 to 107 for OBC category and 106 to 90 for SC category, 85 upto 80 for ST and ph category.
