-Dont get overstressed if you missed it. As per as mark is concerned it depends on college you are studying and department whether they will give you marks or not.Sometimes good conduct to specific teachers can fetch you marks.If you have a valid reason then write a letter to the Hod sir with prove, he will definitely help you.Though internal exams are matter of attendance in most of the cases!
-Internal exams are conducted by Teachers in colleges. You may be asked for a Retest or something else will be arranged for you (like assignments etc.) so that they can give proper marks to a student

-I think that completely depends from department to department. I will speak from prospective of Engineering.

-Since first year is your starting year, do not take your studies lightly right away. Trust if you get your studies on track in first year, next three years are going to be smooth right away. Built enough buffer so that you can enjoy the later years and focus on other important things.
Interact with all students and figure out those whose thinking matches with yours. These people are going to be part of your life on and possibly off campus. Good friends make good memories.
-If you are weak in communication skill, start working on it right away. Start reading novels, newspapers etc. I tell you even a stellar academic record sans a good personality and communication skill may not get you where you want to be.
-Try to figure out what you want to do in future, as in you want to prepare for UPSC (other Govt jobs) or MBA or GATE (or IES) or MS . If you are looking for a non tech avenue, your only focus should be to just sail through the curriculum. If you want to go into technical field, do prepare notes and start having a look at the types of questions asked in those exams.
-Don’t fall in love in first year itself. Even if you like somebody, wait for three-four semester. But if you can manage to keep your focus on things, while your hormones are bustling, than that’s your own discretion. But your career is more important than anything else.
-Do try to participate in one or two extra-curricular activities if you can afford any above all the things.

-It has a long tradition of pursuing excellence in teaching and research in Science and technology, humanities, social sciences, performing arts and sports.
-The college is located inside the Panjab University Campus, so all the facilities provided inside the campus can be availed by UBS students as well.
-The university provides a good quality of education with M.Com (honours). The college has an average opportunity for students, but there are approximately 90% of placements. Internship opportunities are not much accessible. The college should provide practical exposure by conducting training. The course has good theoretical and research work topics covered that helps students in their further PhD courses as well
