Below is the application process for University College Cork admission:

Undergraduate application process:

Step 1: As a new user, create an account.

Step 2: Fill in the necessary details to set up your account.

Step 3: Now, click on ‘Create Application’.

Step 4: Create your application by providing the necessary details about your programme by following the instructions on-screen. Also, you will have to submit certain course-specific documents. As mentioned below:

The University has divided the minimum requirements entry in 3 formants below are the following:

• Band of Competitiveness 1 programs:  Minimum average of  90+ in any recognised secondary school qualifications.

• Band of Competitiveness 2 programs:  Minimum average of  80-89% in any recognised secondary school qualifications.

• Band of Competitiveness 3 programs:  Minimum average of  75-79% in any recognised secondary school qualifications.

• Maths is compulsory for specific programs with a minimum core of 85%, whereas a Lab Science is required with a minimum score of 85% in the appropriate Lab Science subject. 

• Applicants must meet the below English requirements:

Official Academic Transcripts: These are essential as they have the detailed records of your academic performance from your previous colleges/university. 

Graduation Certificate: UCC asks for a graduate certificate confirming that you have completed your previous degree program.

Photocopy of Passport: This proves the applicant's identity and citizenship. Its highly asked for international students to study in Ireland.

Official Documentation for other qualifications: If you have any non degree academic or professional capabilities, you can provide the official documentation to support your application. 

CV: Applicants must submit their CV with a summary of their work experience, qualifications and background. 

LOR’S: Some courses might ask for LORs from teachers or employees for the applicant's character and abilities. 

English requirements for international applicants:

International applicants need to apply directly to the UCC International Office using the UCC Online Application System. However, for Medicine and Dentistry courses, applicants can submit their applications through designated UCC agents only. Each agent has a specific closing date. For more information on this, contact the university directly or its agents.
