Hi.University College of Engineering, Thodupuzha was established in1996 with the aim of providing value education to the upcoming generation in the country. It is one of the most sought after engineering colleges in Kerala.

Now the college is managed by Centre for Professional and Advanced Studies (CPAS), a society established by Government of Kerala; under the chairmanship of Hon'ble Minister for Education.

Yes, University College of Engineering does offer BE/ BTech programmes across multiple specialisations. Admission to the course is primarily entrance-based and requires candidates to provide a valid score of TS EAMCET exam. The basic eligibility is to pass Class 12 or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 45% from a recognised board. Working professionals can also pursue the programme under CEEP. The median placement of students in UCE is around 7.82lakhs per annum and the Maximum package till now of 37.49 LPA was shaked by a student of our college while others got around 1 to 13 Lacs per annum. University College of Engineering is not very expensive and its fees are moderate. For B.Tech., the tuition fee is INR 22,090 for the Karnataka students and INR 1,81,140 for students from other states. Accommodation costs are at around INR 10000 per annum to INR 35000 per annum including for Hostel fees which is INR 50000 to INR 70000 per annum. Karnataka students have to appear for either KCET for admission into B.Tech at University College of Engineering or COMEDK UGET and for students other than Karnataka JEE Main Score is also considered relevant. For admission, the candidate should have an average of forty-five percent in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry and 10+2 examination with Mathematics and Physics.] KCET cutoff ranks fall between 1,500 to 10,000 and COMEDK between 5,000 to 20,000. The total intake of students is 360 that comprises 50% seats for Karnataka students and 50% for other than Karnataka students and counseling is done through KEA.

University College of Engineering is not very selective compared to the standard set by some other engineering institutions. KCET score is considered for admission to the college and the cutoff ranks are between 1,500 to 10,000. The cutoff for UG courses for 2023 was as follows: Computer Science of 2,150 and Mechanical of 4,150 vocational.
