The estimated cost of living in Edmonton varies with type of accommodation & the standard of lifestyle being pursued by students.

The estimated cost of living is around CAD 14,199 (INR 8.8 L), while some other costs such as books, supplies & instruments, public transportation, medical insurance, etc. take the overall annual estimated costs of living to CAD 17,462 (INR 10.84 L).

The University of Alberta charges a deposit worth CAD 5,000 (INR 3.10 L) to new students, to grant the admission offer letter, along with an Provinicial Attestation Letter, that is required to attain the Canadian study permit, & be eligible to register in courses taught by Canadian Universities.

Students already pursuing their higher studies in Canada, are required to submit a fee worth CAD 1,000 (INR 62 K).
