International UG students are required to maintain a minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale. They are also required to demonstrate English proficiency.

  • Group A students require 75% ISC, CBSE, Maharashtra, or 75% West Bengal, or 80% Other State boards
  • Group B students require 80% ISC, CBSE, Maharashtra, or 75% West Bengal, or 85% Other State boards
  • Group C students require 85% ISC, CBSE, Maharashtra, or 80% West Bengal, or 90% Other State boards
  • Group D students require 85% ISC, CBSE, Maharashtra, or 80% West Bengal, or 90% Other State boards. However, students must check the individual course pages for exact entry requirements.

Yes, definitely! The university boasts of having 31% of academic staff from overseas and a truly diverse and global campus. It welcomes over 8,700 international students from approximately 150 countries. Hi,
University of Birmingham and a degree will certainly boost your CV. However, getting a job in UK itself is difficult for Indian students. Also, it may not be easily recognized in India following strict work visa rules for Indians. Check some news articles on the same. Try to get in touch with some former students and alumni for details.

Yes, full-time students are allowed to work part-time. You can contact the university to find out about availability of jobs on campus and off campus and stipends, etc.
