University Of Calicut Scope

University of Calicut has a distance learning program, from which students without the proper means can attain valuable education. The institute has a School of Distance Education, which was formerly known as Institute of Correspondence Courses and Continuing Education. Calicut University SDE offers 25 courses to students,  out of which13 are UG and 12 are PG programs. 

Calicut University provides students with the best of opportunities and exposure via various collaborations and partnerships with national and international partners. Students can receive insights and trainings from educational institutions like Queens University, Belfast in Northern Ireland, UK. Further, the institute has also private and corporate tie-tups with bodies like John and Smith Solutions LLP, Govt. Cyberpark, Calicut, among others.

University of Calicut is located in Tenhipalam, Kerala and has over 406 affiliated colleges, through which it provides various courses to students. The university is awarded Grade-A+ by the NAAC, and is ranked at #89 by NIRF under the "University" category. With over 178+ courses part of its library, the university provides the flagship courses of BSc and BTech, and has produced notable alumni like Bobby Aloysius and Anju Bobby George.
