However, it is still placed in the Top 600 Universities in the world. In Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings, this university ranks at #351-400 in 2025. For international UG students, the University of Georgia has not mentioned GPA specifically. However, for the Class of 2028, the high-school GPA for admitted students is 4.05-4.33. To apply to the University of Georgia UG courses, the applicants are required to have the following:
- Academic transcripts from the graduating high school
- Application fee
- SAT / ACT scores (if applicable)
- Secondary School Report / Counsellor Recommendation
- Teacher / Other Letter of Recommendation

A few of the student organizations specifically for international students are the Arab Cultural Association, Indian Student Association, Vietnamese Student Association, Nepalese Student Association, etc. Indian Student Association (ISA) particularly hosts several events that act as ice-breakers for new students.
