University of Michigan acceptance rate is 18% which make it competitive to secure admission. This shows that out of every 100 students, only 18 students will secured admission at UMich. The University of Michigan offers admission for international students in four intakes namely Fall, Summer, Spring, and Winter intake. International students must meet all the admission requirements at UMich.  Also, international students must submit all the relevant documents along with their admission application. International students whose native language is not English, must submit proof of English proficiency at Michigan University.

The acceptance rate for the University of Michigan MS in Data Science is 5% by Fortune. The acceptance rate for this programme was 5.3% for the 2020-2021 academic year. It is difficult to get admission to the Data Science programme at Michigan for international students. The University of Michigan–Ann Arbor doesn’t require applicants to submit GRE or GMAT scores to qualify for its master’s degree programme in data science. Students need to submit their TOEFL score and must complete a minimum of 25 credits to graduate.

For admission to Michigan Uni MBA course, international students require 720+ or equivalent GRE score. The applicants with 3 years of professional work experience can get a waiver for GMAT / GRE. To take admission to MBA course, the applicants should have a Bachelor's degree.

Yes, it may be difficult for international students to get admission to the University of Michigan because of its high acceptance rate. In 2023-24, over 87,000 applicants applied for the University of Michigan admission in the UG program. Out of these, only 7,466 were enrolled at the university. The UMich acceptance rate 2024 is around 18%, which makes admissions moderately competitive.
