The mode of application is online for all courses. Aspirants irrespective of their category have to pay INR 1,000 separately for entrance exam and INR 2,000 for group subjects. Besides, candidates need to pay an application fee of INR 400 for PG courses. Candidates must visit the official website of the University to apply for the choice of course by filling out the application form.

According to the information available on the official website of Shiksha, the average placement package offered to MSc graduates at Mangalore University, ranges from INR 2.1 Lacs to INR 4.4 lakh. On the other hand, the average package offered to MSc graduates at Mysore University ranges from INR 2 Lacs to INR 30 lakh. 

In conclusion, University of Mysore offers the highest average package to MSc graduates compared to Mangalore University.

According to the information available on the official website of Shiksha, the average placement package offered to BSc graduates at Mangalore University, ranges from INR 2.2 Lacs to INR 3.5 lakh. On the other hand, the average package offered to BSc graduates at Mysore University ranges from INR 60,000 to INR 3.5 lakh. 

In conclusion, Mangalore University and Bangalore University offer similar average placement packages for BSc graduates. However, the range of average packages at Mangalore University tends to be higher compared to Bangalore University, providing better opportunities for students.

Besides, candidates irrespective of their category have to pay INR 1,000 separately for entrance exam and INR 2,000 for group subjects. Aspirants need to pay the application fee via any of the online payment modes. Candidates must keep the payment reciept for verification at the time of admission.

University of Mysore conducts Postgraduate Entrance Exam (PGEE) for PG courses admission. PGEE scores are accepted for MSc admission. Candidates have to apply and appear for entrance examinations separately for each program. However, there shall be a single common entrance examination for the following groups of programmes. Aspirants have to qualify in the respective entrance examination by securing a minimum 08 marks in case of SC/ST/ Cat-I candidates, 09 mark in case of OBC and 10 marks in case of other candidates out of 50 marks.
