It may be difficult for international students to study BTech from Oxford because of its low admission rate. Oxford acceptance rate is around 16.03%, makes the admission highly competitive for international students. The university received over 23,000 applications for the fall of 2023, among which over 3,200 were enrolled in undergraduate programs including BTech.

The minimum GPA needed for PG level criteria is a UG degree from the USA 3.7 out of 4.0.

For applicants from India, GPA required is 3.5 out of 4.0, 5.5 out of 7.0, 6.5 out of 8.0 or 8.5 out of 10.0.

The application fee to apply for M.Sc in Computer Science programme at Oxford is £75 (INR 8,106). Application fee waivers are available for the following applicants who meet the eligibility criteria:

  • applicants from low-income countries;
  • refugees and displaced persons; 
  • UK applicants from low-income backgrounds; and 
  • applicants who applied for our Graduate Access Programmes in the past two years and met the eligibility criteria.

To apply for the MSc in Advanced Computer Science at the University of Oxford, applicants must meet the following requirements-

  • A first-class undergraduate degree with honours in computer Science or mathematics
