Reading University does not officially publish data on the acceptance rate. However, as per unofficial sources, the University of Reading acceptance rate is 86%. The university is relatively less selective in the admission process. Though it is not hard to get into the University of Reading. However, entry requirements may vary depending on the course and the number of applicants in a given year. In general, meeting or exceeding the minimum academic requirements and submitting a strong application can improve your chances of being accepted.

Reading University's reputation in agriculture is good especially in Ghana. It is great place to study, the University of Reading supports its students through a range of scholarships and student loans. Reading University's campus is excellent, it has good ties to industry (which is important for looking for a job) and saying you have been to Reading University carries a certain prestige.

  • Minimum 2:1 or the equivalent from an overseas institute
  • Any degree discipline is accepted, but the applicants must have a satisfactory level of numeracy and have basic knowledge of Statistics and Mathematics
