University of Reading offers many scholarships for UG and PG international students. The eligibility criteria and requirements to get one of these scholarship vary from each other. Check below the minimum eligibility for scholarships for international students at Reading University.

Vice Chancellor Global Scholarship Award 

  • Necessary to have been offered and accepted admission to the University for the 2023/24 academic year
  • No application is needed, selection is based on academic achievement
  • Student must be classified by the university as an international for fees purposes

IFP Ambassador Scholarship

  • International students need to apply for a place on the IFP and accepted their offer
  • International students can also apply through UCAS

Henley Business School and Reading University Alumni Discount

  • Eligible students will qualify automatically
  • Applicants should be Henley business School and University of Reading Alumni
  • Applicants must be studying in any Henley Masters programme

University of Reading offers many engineering UG and PG programs through its School of Biomedical Sciences and Biomedical Engineering and School of Construction Management and Engineering. The university offers its architectural engineering programs through the School of Construction Management and Engineering and the School of Architecture.  The Complete University Guide 2026 ranked the University of Reading #17 for Architectural engineering and #42 for Civil engineering in the United Kingdom. The Henley Business School of the University of Reading offers a number of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Reading University is known globally and nationally for its business and management programs. International students can apply online for all the undergraduate courses at the University of Reading. The application fee for 2027 entry is GBP 34.50 per applicant. International students can make up to 5 choices by applying through UCAS. For postgraduate courses international students can apply online whole year through the university's application portal. There is no application fee for international students to apply for master's courses at Reading University.

Yes, University of Reading accepts international students, in fact, it has one of most diverse and vibrant student population in UK. University of Reading is truly global university with international campus in Malaysia and Henley Business School having presence all over world. Reading University has more than 5,000 international students from over 140 countries

If English is not first language of students then they are required to prove English language. English language requirements for Indian students will depend on program.
