As per a few sources, the Uni of Salford has an acceptance rate of 48% which shows that the university is competitive to get into. As an Indian student, Class 12 must have been have completed for admission to UG courses. For admission to PG courses of the Uni of Salford, a Bachelor's degree is required.

According to major ranking providers like QS and THE, the current University of Salford world ranking is under 1000 and by US News & World Report is 1095. The University of Salford QS ranking is 801-1000 in 2024 and it remain contat since 2020.
