Scholarship deadlines at Uni of Toronto vary for different financial aid programs. Most scholarships have their deadlines between November and January.
This includes the Lester B Pearson International Student Scholarship, University of Toronto Scholars Program and several Graduate Scholarships.

Yes, Indian students are allowed to change their course at U of T Canada. This can be done using the ACORN portal. Here students can add, delete, and change courses or majors.
Students will need to meet the requirements of the new course, and apply on time. Some programs with "limited enrollment" only admit students with excellent grades.

In 2026 UofT stood to be one of just six institutions in the world to achieve a top 30 spot in all of the subject rankings by THE. It was also the only Canadian university in this list. Overall the top courses are-

Yes of the total 700 UG and 300 PG programs available at UofT, there are multiple Science, Tech, Engineering and Mathematics focused programs available for students. Some of the key fields include Computer Engineering, Quantitative Physiology and Computer Science. Its also often ranked as #1 Canadian based university for STEM education/research.

International students need to pay a tuition fee of CAD 63,570-74,430 or INR 43.2 - 50.6LPA depending on the programme they apply for at UofT. An additional incidental/ancillary fees of CAD 2,271 or INR 1.5L is also required. The rest of the expected expenses may include-

The University of Toronto is one of the most prestigious universities around the world and it ranks number 1 in Canada by Shiksha Popularity rankings. Although, globally, the U of Toronto is not ranked among the top 10. Below are the rankings, take a look -

So, this university is ranked really well but not among the top 10 worldwide.

Yes, the Financial Times rankings have ranked the University of Toronto in the year 2025.
As per these rankings, the University ranks #81 in 2025 which is an improvement from it's previous year rank.
Financial Times is one of the newspapers that ranks the universities based on the MBA courses and the business schools.
