Yes, U of T is the best university in Canada for Computer Science, per the latest Shiksha Rankings. Students can pursue the programme in-demand specializations like AI, Data Science, and Software Engineering.
The programme also comes with a PEY (Professional Experience Year). This allows students to work and gain industry experience, before graduation.
CS graduates work at Google, Apple, Meta, JP Morgan, and Goldman Sachs.

The University of Toronto is the #1 university in Canada, as per the latest Shiksha Rankings. McGill University ranks just behind it with rank #2 in Canada.
At U of T Canada, students will find a more research intensive environment. Students also get more course options, and the university is much larger than McGill.
For specific programs like Life Sciences or Medicine, however, McGill University Canada is usually considered the better choice.

Both universities have their own strengths. Uni of Toronto is better for students interested in studies at a university with prestige and quality research. Toronto as a city also offers better social, cultural, and career opportunities. Students also get more course options to choose from.
UWaterloo is better if students are interested in STEM courses. It also offers the the largest co-op program in the US and Canada. Waterloo Uni maintains strong industry connections of its own.
