With a 95% acceptance rate, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is easy to get into for international students. The high percentage shows that the university accepts 95 out of 100 students. However, the university considers a few factors before choosing any candidates, which students must focus on. Those factors are academic performance, extracurricular activities, personal essay, and achievements. Students must excel in academics and take part in extracurricular or volunteer activities relevant to the curriculum.

The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee does not ask for GRE scores from graduate applicants. However, graduate students prefer to submit it to support their weak application. In addition, international graduate applicants must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognised university or equivalent. They must submit certain admission requirements, including transcripts from the university/college attended, a letter of recommendation, a resume/CV, a writing sample, and English language requirements.
