An international undergraduate must have proof of at least 18 months of full-time, for credit academic study, and graduate applicant must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognised university or equivalent. Along with fulfilling eligibility, students must submit the required documents as requested by the university during admission. The UWM admission requirements for undergraduate and graduate applicants are given below:

The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee does not ask for GRE scores from graduate applicants. However, graduate students prefer to submit it to support their weak application. In addition, international graduate applicants must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognised university or equivalent. They must submit certain admission requirements, including transcripts from the university/college attended, a letter of recommendation, a resume/CV, a writing sample, and English language requirements.

University of Wisconsin Milwaukee ranks at #315 in the rankings for National Universities. #170 in Top Public Schools. It's top ranking programs include Engineering, Nursing, Computer Science, Economics etc.
